Betting Rules

Scope and Effective Application

These betting rules govern all wager types offered by Galabet. They apply to standard pre‑match and in‑play markets, including outright and event‑based bets, across all sports and event categories available on the Galabet platform. By placing a bet, you confirm you have read, understood and accepted these rules, along with Galabet's terms and conditions and any applicable laws.

Settlement, Official Results and Data Sources

All bets are settled on the official result published by the relevant governing body or organiser. If no official result is published, Galabet may settle using credible, widely accepted data sources at its discretion. Where a market price is published incorrectly, Galabet reserves the right to void affected bets or to resettle at the correct price. Bets placed at prices different from the live published price at the time of wagering are not eligible for acceptance.

Price Integrity, Market Accuracy and Resettlement

Prices and markets reflect Galabet’s published odds. If a pricing error or systemic anomaly affects a market, Galabet may void the affected bets or resettle on the correct terms. Galabet reserves the right to reclaim any payouts that were made on the basis of an incorrect price. Settlement decisions are final and may be taken on a bet‑by‑bet basis where the circumstances fall outside the standard sport rules or terms and conditions.

Bet Placement, Cancellation and Changes

Once a bet is placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or altered by the customer. Any bet deemed to have been placed in error may be voided by Galabet. Where a bet is discovered to have been accepted in error, any affected bets may be void and settlements adjusted accordingly within 48 hours of discovery.

Fraud, Integrity and Account Suspension

Galabet may suspend settlements and restrict or close accounts if there is evidence of fraud, collusion, or other integrity concerns related to an event or betting activity. In such cases, all bets related to the relevant event may be voided and payments withheld pending investigation by Galabet and the appropriate authorities. Any decision in relation to fraud shall be made on a case‑by‑case basis and is final.

Settlement Timelines and Re‑settlement

In the event of incorrect settlement or payout, Galabet will settle or reclaim within 48 hours of identifying the error. Bets may be re‑settled to reflect the correct outcome or price, and discrepancies will be corrected in the customer’s account accordingly.

General Market Rules

• Markets are for the standard duration of the event unless a specific market states otherwise. If an event is amended, shortened, or restructured, Galabet reserves the right to void affected markets.
• In‑play markets settle based on the live event outcome as it stands at the point of official confirmation; late or unavailable data may require delay in settlement until official data is available.
• Outright markets and tie scenarios are subject to dead heat rules. If two or more selections share a position, the stake is divided accordingly and the remaining portion may be treated as a loss where applicable.

Sport‑Specific Settlement Guidelines

The following summaries illustrate typical rules for common market types. The specific rules for each sport are published in Galabet’s sport pages and may differ for certain markets. Where sport rules are provided, they govern settlement in addition to these general provisions.

Football (Soccer)

• Official result refers to 90 minutes of play plus any injury time. Extra time, golden goals, or penalties do not count unless a market explicitly states otherwise.
• If a match is cancelled, suspended, or postponed and not resumed within 24 hours after the scheduled start, bets on the match are void unless an official result is subsequently declared.
• In cases where the referee ends play before the full 90 minutes is completed due to an official ruling, the result at the time of termination governs the market unless stated otherwise.
• Markets referring to halves or other periods settle on the score at the end of the relevant period, with extra time excluded unless the market specifies inclusion.

American Football

• All markets are settled on the official result at the end of regulation play unless overtime is specifically included in the market. Overtime results do not count unless the market states otherwise.
• If a result is not available within 48 hours of the final play, the market may be deemed void.
• A minimum playing time threshold may apply for payout eligibility in certain markets; where stated, markets are settled only if the specified proportion of the game duration has been completed.

Tennis

• If a player withdraws before the match start, or retires during the match, markets related to that player are void unless the market specifies otherwise. If a player withdraws before the first match of a tournament, futures or progression markets may be void.
• If a match is shortened, restarted, or played on an alternative surface, Galabet reserves the right to void the market or settle according to the official governing body decision where available.

Basketball

• Scores include overtime where the market explicitly includes overtime. If overtime is excluded by market terms, settlements reflect regulation time only.
• If a game is canceled or not resumed within 72 hours of the scheduled start, unsettled markets may be voided unless an official result is declared.

Other Sports

• For sports not listed above, settlement follows the official results from the governing body. Where the event is interrupted or not completed within the defined window, Galabet may void or settle markets as appropriate to preserve fairness and integrity.

Abandoned, Postponed or Incomplete Events

When an event is abandoned or postponed, bets are void unless the event is resumed and completed within the time frame specified for that sport or market, or unless an official winner is subsequently declared. If competitors change, or if the event is moved to a different venue, open bets may be voided.

Age, Compliance and Responsible Gaming

Participants must comply with applicable laws and be of the legal gambling age set forth by their jurisdiction. Galabet may require identity verification and other checks in accordance with anti‑money laundering and regulatory obligations. Customers are encouraged to gamble responsibly.
